After starting in the surf and fashion industry at just 15, working behind the scenes to create products and brands for other companies, trying to make those brands "cool", Proxim was conceived to create something more personal, with more meaning and purpose.

Proxim Studio's aim is to be more than just a sunglass brand with products that our community is genuinely proud to own. Inspired by skate and alternative design brands I wanted to build a community of creatives, customers, and advocates who connect with our vision and who are keen to inspire and be inspired, basically to do cool shit.

Our partnership with the Fred Hollows Foundation, which helps restore sight to those in need, is a big part of that mission.

Each piece is crafted with care, and our hope is that every customer feels part of something bigger—a community that values creativity, purpose, and impact.
